Faulty or Defective Products (Australian Consumer Law)
IndieGamer follows Australian Consumer Law (ACL). If your product develops a fault, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund.
To assess the issue, we may request:

a description of the fault

photos or a short video
-
basic troubleshooting steps
If the product is confirmed faulty:

IndieGamer will provide a remedy in line with ACL

IndieGamer will cover return shipping only when a return is required

In some cases, we may provide a replacement or refund without requiring a return
No Change‑of‑Mind Returns
IndieGamer does not accept change‑of‑mind returns. This includes situations where the customer:

no longer wants the item
-
ordered the wrong product
-
found a cheaper option
-
does not like the colour, style, or fit
-
decides the product is not needed
This is fully ACL‑compliant and accepted by Shopify + Meta Commerce Manager.
Warranty Coverage
All products include a 12‑month limited warranty covering manufacturing defects.
Warranty does not cover:

physical damage
-
wear and tear
-
liquid damage
-
misuse
-
unauthorised modifications
-
cosmetic issues not affecting performance
Non‑Returnable Items
For hygiene and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns on:

used headsets
-
items missing accessories
-
products showing signs of wear or damage
How to Make a Warranty Claim
Email support@indiegamer.com.au with:

order number

description of the issue

photos or video (if applicable)
We respond within 1–2 business days.
Refunds for Faulty Items
Refunds are issued to the original payment method once the returned item (if required) is received and inspected. Processing time: 3–7 business days.
Shipping Costs Summary

Faulty items: IndieGamer covers return shipping only when required

Replacements without return: no shipping cost
